Originally was going to be a black background, but instead I wanted the website to be open and light hearted. So a black background wasn't the colours I wanted to go for, so the slick white background mad eit professional and simplistic.
I added a favourites frames to add a bit of personal touch to make young musicians feel comfortable, but the frames are still professional, in the future if the company expands, I will change it to 'Our favourite frames'.
Business Models Evaluation:
Luti Media:
Effectiveness: 9.5/10
Luti Media was given a 9.5 rating as it clearly shows its success as a independent company, as it shows working for multiple famous artists and directors, it also shows effectiveness in how long the business has been running (since 2006). They seem to be delivering things on budget (although they never go into detail of what their budget is). They also exceed in not just delivering a service, but networking efficiently such as giving newer artists a stepping stone into the music industry. They have different branches all over the world such as London, Paris and Jamaica which means for more clients and more outreach, more business. They have a well established name and internet presence, also they don't only do music videos but branch into other sectors, flexibility is also a very good asset to have in a business to expand your clientel. They are a good example for my creative enterprise due to their work with young lesser known artists such as 'RYAN DE LA CRUZ', however their site does not show their work for more lesser known new artists, the site is difficult to navigate for that side.
BBC Radio Norfolk - The SocialEffectiveness - 9/10
The reason BBC The Social was given a 9/10 rating is due to their organisation of their volunteers as sometimes they are not told if a show is on a Tuesday instead (as sometimes it shifts due to football), however everything else is very effective, from their daily shows going out to their ability to allow people to progress further. This radio show is not only designed to play music, but to get stories told. It adds awareness to lots of different subjects, it is very efficient in doing that, most shows are planned 3 weeks in advance, it is always on-time to start and end, there are no rules of the BBC that are broken, topics are always interesting or made interesting by the interviewer Kitty Perrin. They help talent to progress through their connection with BBC introducing and networking in the waiting room. 7+ topics and interviews on every show and it reaches millions of listeners per week. It has the BBC's support and it's budget is always maintained due to it being BBC. They are soon getting a social media outreach which the volunteers or guests help to maintain while the show airs which might help to gain more of a younger audience as due to it being BBC Radio Norfolk, it has an older demographic than they would like. It links to my creative enterprise as it is a way to help promote my business as I can talk to musicians who need music videos created.
Epik Studios - Music Videos
Effectiveness: 8.5/10
Epik Music Videos was given an 8.5 rating as it has a lot of clients and work to show for it, however does not have as much outreach as Luti Media. Their site seems easy to navigate, however is a little child-like and bright so might come across unprofessional to some. They are self-financed and have lots of staff working for them, a strong social media outreach such as on youtube or facebook. They seem more personal than Luti media or other companies and have a closer intimate team of professionals.
Overview:Each business markets themselves differently and helps gain profit and attention from viewers. They adapt and change where possible to get their desired outcome, they change for their clientel which is a good example of a profitable business model. Luti media developed to branch out and get more customers. BBC The Social promotes themselves to gain a different variety of listeners. Epik MVs had realised they need a more personal approach to help make the environment fit their clients.
